why not offer something in return? something you know he so badly wants?

It'd have to be a hell of a lot of "that thing you do that he loves so much" to make it worthwhile forking out £12.5k.

Stick to your guns Stevie.

And if she keeps on, put the ring on hold. ;)

lol! this thread is great lol! stevie my suggestion is get your marriage started on a blast! make her super happy by buying her the supra, trust me she will remember it for life. however, register it in your own name, every time something doesn't go your way hide the keys..... best solution i can come to or actually its something i would do.

£12500 for a friggin ring? take the ring...sell the thing or take it back, buy a cheap replica for £20 and take the rest...buy a supra for £7k...and say you won the rest with a fake scratch card.

job done.

Too right Gav. While she was busy acquainting herself with the forum last night, I had to do "Woman's Work" in the kitchen.

That is just not on.....

She should know her place...and should only leave it with permission. :p

However if you let them have a little slack, you only have yourself to blame...

Few questions spring to mind...

- Is your bloke into cars?

- What car does he have?

- Did you or he choose the potential engagement ring?

Other thoughts - Supra doesn't replace an engagement ring. I'd go for the ring from him and the Supra yourself. Then there is no "It's my car really" BS.

I have to say I hate it when I see women driving Supra's. Purely because it makes my missus wanna drive mine!

EDIT: And not only that, my sister calls it a hair dressers car, and it doesn't help my argument of "It's a mans car!" when we see a laydee behind the wheel! :D
