Duffman
Nearly got all my stuff I need for BPU Need to get the following fitted - Cat back exhaust, 1st decat, RR, FCD, Walbro fuel pump also to make sure plugs are gapped correctly. Don't really fancy having a go at this myself...does anyone know of someone in the Ayrshire(near glasgow) region who would take this on...for payment of course. Don't wanna take it into a normal garage who maybe don't know too much about Supra's. Cheers Sean
merckx
Do you have a boost gauge, I wouldn't go BPU without one? You might not need a restrictor ring if you're leaving the second cat on the car, the boost you'll reach will also be influenced by the exhaust that you're fitting. Thorin
If you're leaving the second cat in you don't need a restrictor ring... and in fact you'll probably need a boost controller if you want to increase the boost to 1.2bar. edit: posted before I saw your above reply. I'd fit new plugs too, if you're not sure what's in there already. It's a good idea to go a range colder for BPU... and I'd fit a new OEM UK spec pump rather than the walbro personally.
