What is the state of this suspension/bushings?

I have read about the great results from changing bushings and other suspenstion parts (shocks&dampers already changed) with new ones. Is it possible to evaluate the state of mine from pics?

Hope the pics are good enough to tell...

very hard to say whats going on with the resolution of your pics, the bottom line is i would say virtually every supra in this country is now at an age where a full or partial suspension refresh is needed, if you want to maintain the cars handling at its optimum then i think you know the answer, if you just cruise about posing ;) then just wait till it fails an MOT on the various components

Nope :)

Plus that's just the ball joints - it's the big bushes where the wishbones join to the chassis that cause squirming and movement. You can sort of tell if they are shafted by clunks when you stop, caused by the whole wishbone shifting forwards a few mm to hit the bracket they are attached to. At that point they are very dead.

I'll check the big bushes. This should also get check when I get a 4 wheel alignment but is that trustworthy? I'm getting one soon since I changed dampers recently.

I have a clear "clunk" noice from the right rear suspension, but only when its wet. But then when its wet I hear it often, usually when passing small patches of uneven road.

Can that be what you describe?

I cant see anything wrong anywhere in there though.

I couldn't see anything wrong either but the car felt awful to drive. When it went up on ramps though the people showed me the travel by a) using a breaker bar to lever the wishbones about and b) showing me the rubbing marks on the brackets

I spent a lot on keep getting the alignment done because it didn't feel right, only to have it rendered meaningless by the components shifting around. You may experience the same issue.

I knew something was seriously wrong when I accelerated from a standstill up the driveway about 1 car length and jammed on the brakes as hard as I could as a test (you may want to try this). There was a clonk as everything shifted forwards, and if I eased off the brake slowly everything made creaking noises as it all relaxed.
