DodgyRog
I would think that's a bit high still, have you tried Sky insurance, they are the club insurer, so mention you are a member. I paid £400 fully comp, no claims protected ( 8 years I think ) £250 excess, I am 38 and only have an N/A j-spec, but that's over double mine
supraGZaerotop
thanks for the info, i will be phoning about this year i think. sure i can get it better than that, just find it hard to leave a good insurer,

Will call Sky tommorow tho to see what they want to offer (their best quote was 561 pounds).

DaveSupTT
26yrs old with admiral multicar. 2yrs no claims bonus no points, no claims metro 1.1 costs £204/yr 3rd party fire and theft 5k miles/yr and for commuting and social Supra TT import auto - £300 fully comp, declared mods, and insured 3rd party any other cars - and yes, this is insured correctly as a MKiv and not a MKIII 5kmiles/yr for social only mum is also insured as a name driver on both. Up until I went multicar it cost me £736 or something like that for the Supra.(for social and commuting etc)

Sounds like you're getting stiffed mate, either that or NI insurance is steep!

DaveSupTT
im not complaining And i have tripple checked all doccuments and everything is correct, like make model, and checked it was a MKIV. Admiral have always been cheap for me. I think my 200sx turbo with 1 yrs no claim a few yrs back now, was only 700ish fully comp. prob about 23 maybe. not sure to be honest. All i remeber was I had it for 2 weeks, as i it was parked up on the street and a pi$$ head came around the corner, smashed straight into mine and 2 cars in front. Wrote my car off, and as he wasnt insured (police caught him, they saw it all happen) I had to pay the excess, which was 350, and i lost my no claims!!!! I think I paid something like 2k for it, and they offered me £750 for it after 2 weeks of ownership. They ended up upping their offer to £1700 after i showed other cars that were simialr! Still though, after having paying out excess and what not, im sure i only ended up getting £1100 back! so lost 900 quid and my no claims and it wasnt even my fault! So admiral were not great then!! Still, I have stopped with them though as they are cheap.
