SilverSoop
Hi all, now this might sound crazy and believe me it does! Now, after my poor cat died recently, weird things have been happening in my house... Every night, before I go to bed, I get the distinct feeling of someone or something in my living room or whatever room I am in, everything gets very cold and the hairs on my neck stand up and I get very nervous and a bit anxious as to what it could be... When I was upstairs a few weeks ago, I was on the PC, the door was closed-to and no way of opening it, I was by myself and all of a sudden, the door opened itself slowly and was just enough room for my cat to get through... Before he died, he always used to do push with his head so that he could get just enough room to get inside... I thought that was weird in itself but over the past couple of night, I swear I can see out of my peripheral vision that something black comes running down the stairs (like my cat used to) - I have seen this 4 times now... But last night completely took the biscuit... In my house I have a Tunble drier which is pre-set and once it finishes it's run, that's it, it stops which it did. About five minutes later, it started up all by itself and I had no answer for that, it just spooked the hell out of me!! I went to inspect what had just happened, when the Tunble drier stops, the dial goes way off the stop mark, the dial though, way a quarter of a way around and it would need physical contact to make it do that. No-one was in the Kitchen either, I can't explain anything that has happened as of late but tbh, I am a little spooked by the whole thing... ivan
Well there's no way your cat could have turned the tumble drier on, dead or alive!
Ian C
Take advantage of the situation and set up video cameras and temperature sensors around the house, get some science done I set up a sound recorder in my old posessed garage a couple of years back, unfortunately the equipment was a bit makeshift and wasn't good enough. Which is annoying as it got two quite odd noises. Must do it again this year with better kit, my mate still owns the house where the garage is
JustGav
Hahahahaha I've had that before, was sat at my PC at about 3 in the morning when I heard the tumble drier kicking in, scared the hell out of me. Turns out it had a keep warm tumble feature which if you put washing in and programmed it to dry at a later stage would kick in, and just tumble everything every 30 mins for about 10 seconds. SilverSoop
Well there's no way your cat could have turned the tumble drier on, dead or alive! I know... But, something did... Take advantage of the situation and set up video cameras and temperature sensors around the house, get some science done I set up a sound recorder in my old posessed garage a couple of years back, unfortunately the equipment was a bit makeshift and wasn't good enough. Which is annoying as it got two quite odd noises. Must do it again this year with better kit, my mate still owns the house where the garage is It's just weird that things have just started happening like doors opening themselves, temperatures in the house dropping to a really low level, feelings of someone or something in the room I am in and a Tunble turning itself on... My one doesn't and it is quite old now BUT it has never done that before, once it is off, that's it. This dial was a quarter of a way around and as I said, would need physical force to make it do that... Im bloody confused as to a logical explanation which I would love to give... A mate of yours is on a wind up?. I used to do it to a friend a few years back, got a universal remote and programmed it to his telly. Used to turn his telly on, on the way back from the night shift (about 2 in the morning), and crank up the volume. (It did help we lived on the same street)

bigcol
I have started doing a bit of paranormal investigation and its really good, got into it totally by accident (took mrs col on a ghost hunt for our aniversary, now im hooked) so if anyone has a "ghost" problem let me know so i can disprove the fact that its paranormal and give a totally logical explaination as so far we have not "proved" anything paranormal but would love to. As for your problem i would set up a voice activated dictaphone and try and get some evp readings, maybe even a webcam where you think the main activity is. Rob
I saw my dog out of the corner of my eye just after he was put down, I posted on here about it. It's just persistance of memory. Doors open on their own you know, you say "no way of opening it" but unless it was locked shut, there's a way, the slightest change of air pressure can open a door. (It did help we lived on the same street) Nope, I am afraid not, I was sat in the Living room when all of a sudden it started up... So far, it hasn't done it again, but my eyes and ears are open... I reckon mkivsupra is the most haunted site on the net, things are always going bump in the night! Maybe an idea if weird things keep persisting... It would be nice if he's come back to visit you. Yeh it would actually... As I said, it is just so weird that when the door opened upstairs, it was JUST wide enough for him to get through. It's how the door opened too, it opened really slowly and the door creaked as it opened... I am all up for a logical explanition but it's just exactly how that door opened, and no-one was doing a wind-up either... I saw my dog out of the corner of my eye just after he was put down, I posted on here about it. It's just persistance of memory. (i have no friends:D) plus a attention seeking fraudster I agree with the both of you, yeh Ok, maybe the door thing and the perphriphal vision thing can be explained but the Tunble drier incident, I can't explain and also the extreme cold temperatures that occur from time to time and the feeling of being 'watched' These things are no stranger to us........http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=98007&highlight=spooky H.
