Cheers guys, autoglym engine cleaner with a a paint brush to get in all the nook and craneys then jetwashed it off, autoglm alloy wheels cleaner on the wheels.:)

Nice work :)

I've heard never steam clean the engine, but would it be ok to jet-wash the Supra engine after an autoglym treatment?

I did the same to my supra with no problems, just cover the fuse box with a plastic back and i wrapped most the terminals i could see with tin foil to keep the water out.

That was "jet wash" and specifically not "steam clean" was it?

I ask because I fancy sorting my engine bay out like that, getting bored with backache and mangled fingertips :D

Yea just normal jetwash, do the hard work with a brush and autoglym engine cleaner then just a light spray off with the jetwash, cover everything in WD40 then wipe clean is what i do with all my engines.

Worked well on my supra.

Nice car mate will be interested in seeing how you find it around a track, thinking of building a one off e30 next year

E30 with a 3.2 evo engine would be awesome, my mate has a normal e30 325i and that goes well enough, nice retro cars:cool:
