hoff
Going to watch this tomorrow. We have all the others on dvd so watched them this week to remind ourselves of what happens to who and when after getting a bit lost watching the fourth one:D Not the greatest films ever but I like the idea of how the plot twists and turns and how it comes together at the end of each one and also can explain an earlier situation in an earlier film. I just want to see how it all ties together in the end more than really wanting to see the film if you know what I mean:)

Rob
I saw Saw (eh? eh?) for the first time last night. It was good, slightly predictable in that it was obvious that the Zep guy wasn't the main villain, however Jigsaw being the dead guy in the middle of the room was a big twist and I did like that and the bleak ending. I'll not bother with the others though.

simbasupra
It says SPOILERS in bold on the title so yes i would think so Oh yeah , just to let you guys know, when we walked out the cinema a member of staff at odeon said, they had a contract for another 5 saw films after this one. So at least 10 should be produced! How much of this is true i dont know but could be worth having a look on the web about.
RiceRocket
Saw VI is a definite and not surprising really as it's a cash elephant- total cost of 5 movies = $25m, total box office takings = near $600m. Add the dvds and it must come close to a billion in rakings.
dr_blackman
Will probably go see this in the week
Thorin
I gave up after the third one. Really enjoyed the first, second was mediocre, thought the third one was just terrible. Sod a coherent story or believable characters, lets just have as much blood and gore as we can get away with and see how much we can shock people. I should imagine they expand on that theme in 4 and 5. Another 5 films? They're milking it more than George Lucas does Star Wars.
Mike
I love my horror films, but this particular franchise is lost on me... it's just a bit soulless for it's own good.
Luka-P
No story to draw you in I thought. Just summarises the other four films, like watching them all in one short compilation. Not the best.

Yeh, pretty much. It was ok in the sense it did tie things up and explained a lot which is what I wanted from it but as a film it was pretty poor:( Best bit when the guy and girl who were left realised they had f*cked up:d It has left it open though but I never expected them to catch the guy. I know I'll watch the next one though, spent enough watching these so I'll be damed if I miss how it finishes, if it ever does:d

Nowadays you could watch 6th "i see dead people" sense having never seen it before and guess the ending thanks to the idea being copied so many times. How many did Police Acadamy reach? (I could look it up, but it's a rhetorical question )

Scott
The Saw series is just a cash pinata. They will keep hitting it as long as the money keeps coming out.
jamesmark
Seen this tonight and was moderately disappointed. 100% the weakest of the Saw movies and I must admit I am a big fan of the last 4 films.
