But people always like to have fatter rear tyres, looks good Most aftermarket alloys for the supe come with 265 rear, 235front. Its not a million miles off so cant make that much difference surely ? Scooter Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 Recognised standard/acceptable setups stock 16's 8" 225's front - 9" 245's rear stock 17's 8" 235's front - 9.5" 255's rear Lexus GS300 SPort wheels 8.5" 245 fronts 10" 275 rears so any where between these shouldn't be too bad. Say you had the above 16" setup i'm really not sure that going to a non staggered 18's that were 8.5" wide and fitted with 225's (or 235's) front and 245's (or 255's) rear would cause too much problem. I think you need to be aware that straying further from standard tyre/wheel/offset sizings will effect the handling, undoubtable some of these changes will effect things more than others, but i'm not qualified to advise here, all i'd say is the more you stray from 50mm offset, a staggered setup with ideal sized tyres for them the more chance you have of screwing things up....
