adnanshah247
was just wondering will this fight ever happen? got a feeling if it does prescott again will knock his head off.....
IDO
Don't really think it will happen, if so not anytime soon.. Think they will put khan in against some better know fighters, need to build him up to a level again and get some proof behind the glitz etc, as i follow boxing and he hasn't really been in with any well know fighters... Prescott is a fair fighter (from what little i've seen) but everyone said He was a big step up for Khan.. to be honest i had never heard of him before that fight! He is fighting on the 6th Dec in london, on Nicky cooks WBO title defence undercard (not as the main event. pay per view rubbish.. thank god), don't know who against though.. Vaughany
I could see this fight happening, Frank Warren would probably pay Prescott £1,000,000 to take a dive, Prescott will never earn that money from where he is from and Frank Warren will earn far more than this if Khan is back on top. Makes sound financial sense - it would like Khan beaten the Cuban in his last amateur fight, he redeemed himself for lossing to him in the olympics - that fight was fixed aswell in my opinion. Its all about the money! boxing is a business - Frank Warren knows about thgis business - lets wait and see, a couple of fights under his new trainer then the rematch will happen, Khan will win and they can say the usual, he has matured, learnt his lessons, better training - what a load of rubbish - Prescott will take a dive. Lbm
Amir Khan V John Prescott- Superb! I for one will be tuning in.
Jamesy W
I'd imagine Prescott will hold him of as long as he can in order to nudge up his payday. With a bit of luck he'll spank him all over again. I'd never heard of him before the fight, and I still don't know anything about him other than what I had read in the paper pre-fight. Imo Khan is vastly over-rated. Didn't he need a 13 count against Limond?

chris2o2
Na am agreeing with you mate , he's vastly over-rated - He's got a glass jaw , one good hit and he's rubber-ducked.

I personally would like to see the Khan vs Hatton fight happen. That should be fun.
Bobbeh
By the time Khan gets anywhere near the level Hatton is fighting at now Hatton would be long retired. Khan might fight on the undercard of the DLH vs Pacman fight.. so it'll give him some US coverage... but he needs a fight to rebuild his confidence after that 1st round KO he suffered.. I can't see him fighting that guy again any time soon.
Jamesy W
There was talk of it happening in the new year. The two of them are a world apart, at this stage in his career Khan has nothing to gain from the fight, whereas it would be a perfect swansong & last massive payday for Hatton. adnanshah247
apparently khan wanted hatton. no joke, hatton would blast him to pieces!
Swampy442
Ive never rated Khan, never saw what all the hype was about, thers far better boxers in that class that need a break. Mind you I thought the same about Rio Ferdinand...

Axle
I only know a little bit about Boxing but isn't Amir Khan going to die fighting this bloke Marco Antonio Barrera is not the fighter he was tbh. Infact his fighting style may even somewhat suit Khans now. - In saying that IF the real Marco Antoni Barrera enters the ring then Khan will fall.. Again.. And Again. Khan is not the fighter he is hyped up to be. But hey, he has made his million(s) already.
