Lez
I think the weekends go so slowly, I can't wait for the morning to get here. I think its so inconsiderate of people to have the weekend off. How do they expect me to find a job if there is no-one to talk to.

AJI
Here's the explaination of why time seems to go quicker the older you get..... Einstein rightly stated that time is relative ...... and it is true that the older you get the shorter the perseption of passing time is realised. the best way I understood this is from the following text: If you are 2 years old then 1 year is exactly half your your entire life time. When you are 10 years old 1 year is one tenth of your entire lifetime. By the time you get to, say 50, then one year is only one fiftyeth of your lifetime and you can quickly see how the perseption of time is increasing. This is the same for all levels of time measurement wether it be seconds, minutes, weeks etc. Although as you get down to shorter measurements the difference perceeved is much less. I know this is a slightly different application of relative time but it still works. Thats your physics lesson for today. Over and out. Muffleman
As eloquent as that was, it's still Monday And yes the weekends do go far too quickly On the upside, soon be summer and I can sit in the garden until 10pm. Then when I go to work, I can take my roof panel out and stick my fingers up at all those on here that claim rigidity is better than aerotop (So what's my excuse for the car being red ?!? ) Matt
Sherriff
Does playing GT4 and Planetside count as wasting your weekend? and I did manage to clean the car in between games so that's my fresh air quota fulfilled as well. I'm halfway through the license tests so far with gold cups in every one including the 3 coffee breaks I know I could just go and get bronze's to pass them, but the gold cups give more prize cars. Cheers, Sherriff.
SkyJawa
Totally agree - Mondays suck 'bout time we had a 4 day working week and a 3 day weekend..........
Muffleman
Does playing GT4 and Planetside count Planetside ! I guess that's still going strong then ? I played it for a month or so when it came out but that was pre-ADSL (satellite internet) which sucked. I'm halfway through the license tests so far with gold cups in every one including the 3 coffee breaks That's probably sad and cool at the same time but you're a better man than I, I certainly don't have that much patience. Cheers Matt
Sherriff
It's funny, a number of other people have indicated that i'm being a bit sad in my quest for golds in all the tests... Planetside is still going (I wouldn't say strongly, the game has recently lost a lot of players to World of Warcraft), but the teamplay aspect of it can be very rewarding. Anyway, i'll just get me coat... Sherriff
Muffleman
I have to admit that I enjoyed the teamplay side of it, I just wasn't very good ! Then oneday I somehow ended up commanding a unit, I issued orders and they all went in different directions anyway !!! Oh well. Matt
