Twin Fluidyne cooler & ATF filter kit - New

Kranz

Recommended Posts

New & unused, two Fluidyne transmission coolers, 5 foot of hose, fitting kits, two 3 way fluid manifolds & a transmission filter kit (ideal for keeping your trans fluid clean as the auto gearbox doesn't have a filter).

Not needed by another member & all boxed up & ready to go.

Retail price of one cooler is circa £50.

All this kit for only £105 inc postage

This kit will plumb into the stock auto cooler output from the auto radiator. The two coolers can fit in the SMIC ducting where the SMIC used to fit (if you have FMIC) and the filter can run in parallel with the two coolers providing a bypass filtration system (so approx 1/3 of the fluid is filtered, the other 2/3 being cooled).

A 9" Spal fan on the back of the coolers that is thermostatically controlled would be a nice addition to this kit to ensure that auto box fluid temperatures are kept optimum at all times.

i can vouch for this stuff as i have fitted three of the coolers and the inline filter and also a 9" spal fan, just awaiting a little ductiing;)

Hi Kranz, I am very interested in this. Does it come with everything needed to fit? Is it thermostatically controlled or does that not matter with the auto fluid? Also would the stock auto cooler on the bottom of the rad have to still be used? If it can be by-passed I would like to run my PAS fluid through it and use this kit just for the auto box (if its possible) Thanks in advance.

Not thermostatically controlled, just cools all the time.

I'd keep the stock cooler in the rad in place as the gearbox likes to have a minimum temperature (around 50 degrees IIRC), so in winter it may be useful to have some heat actually going into the system.

PAS could do with another cooler perhaps? Or you could try taking the radiator cooler out of the system and using it for PAS?

Yep,

2 coolers

1 x filter kit inc filter head, filter & fittings

2 x 3-way fluid manifolds

1 x full fitting kit

1 x basic fitting kit

5 feet hose

Any other bits & bobs you may need if I have them :)

You have first dibbs.

Well, almost an hour.... had to walk the dog too :)

As Lui said, I have a couple of sets of kits left over from a group buy that went a bit pear shaped (long story, but a lot of kit got returned to the USA thanks to Royal Fail's cock-up).

If anyone wants anything to do with coolers Pm me, its all still at the 2007 import prices :)
