michael
Just been reading this on the MLR: http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=227297 Seems to be a bit of controversy about the whole thing, dodgy Danny, potential for them to just reopen under the Car Planet banner leaving customers out of pocket? Dr_Doom
My friend took his 200sx to them. They were supposed to be quite good! Seems there might be a trend starting of NW garages screwing people over, shutting down, & then reopening with a different name
_Shane_
good read, no reply from RC yet though Some friends over here dealt with them and had nothing but high praise for the work they carried out on their cars

marbleapple
Just potential for them to just reopen under the Car Planet banner leaving customers out of pocket? For those that don't know: When the company goes into liquidation, the business is dead and the liquidators job is to realise the assets of the company to pay debtors. Secured 1st and unsecured last (b4 shareholders though). Unsecured shareholders very often get nothing. The directors are free to continue doing what they do... i.e. setting up a new company. They won't be able to use the old company's assets (unless they are bought from the liquidator) and the liquidator will investigate the behaviour of the directors prior to the liquidation. There is a high level of naughtyness required for a negative report be followed up by the DTI and thus directors often get away lightly. Will be interesting what happens to the time attack cars and who is used to value them.
bolarbag
I almost bought a set of 2JZ twin turbos off them the other day, never got back to me after a couple of responses initially Shame that, cool little cars

Ark
Too much money spent on 2 time attack cars.... Did not read it all though Not quite enough though - every time I've seen them run, they blow something up. Plus the drivers were arses - virtually ran the wife off the track one time at Donington, tailgating and overtaking in the corners - it was a public track day, not a race test day!
