mwilkinson
I bought a Greddy FMIC Spec M to avoid having to get rid of the stock airbox as people have said that they should fit. However, no matter how much I try I can't get the piping to fit. Can anyone who has had success shed some light on how they did so?
Homer
Is that the 2 or 3 row? Either way I don't think the pipework over the airbox is any different... It will require some manuvering with the pipe that comes up through the wing, are you able to post a pic to show where it's not lining up? Zofix
I couldnt get mine to fit with the stock air box.. The spec M is the 2-row and it is not the same piping as the 3-row..

Unlike the 3 row there are only 2 pipes from the core to the engine. I have played with the pipe coming through the wing having disconnected it from the core but still no joy. I read a thread where someone used a heat gun to soften the offending bulge in the airbox which created just enough room to get it to fit. Obviously though I would rather not melt bits of the car!! I will have a go at getting some pictures tomorrow but if people have managed to do it then any hints or tips would still be welcome.
