RedM
Attending Supra Pod this year made me realise how much I miss my Supe. While I'd love a GT-R or a 60's Muscle Car I think another Supra will be the way to go. However, as it's going to take me about two maybe three years to sort my financial life out, will it be worth the wait? What state do we think Supras will be in in a few years time? Will they be nearly all dead with only treasured examples left or do we think it'll be much like it is now?
jamesmark
Much like it is now but with a bigger chav culture if prices continue heading south. I think finding a cared for one will be harder in that timeline too but acheivable.
Pete
Much like now I expect. Except much much cheaper as no-one can afford the fuel.
hadyn
They're ancient toyotas that no-one cares about apart from petrolheads. Deal with it
JamieP
I rekon they will stay the same sort of price/condition they are now for a few more years to come, you will alway get dogs but there will be plenty of nice ones about. Look at cosworths (im still a fan) they have been the same money for the last ten years.

AlexM
I'll be saving my pennies for a 2001 TT6 VVTi, as long as the club remains intact!
Chris Wilson
There'll be a very few stock ones that have been cherished, and I mean a few, loads of hideously disfigured wrecks in various stages of terminal decay, and a selection of well modified and well maintained ones in Scandinavia They will follow the exact same progress that the MKIII Supra followed, there saving grace being the engines are a lot better. There'll be more nice MKIV's than Skylines as the Skyline is a rot box and won't withstand salty winters as well as the Toyota, which is also more DIY friendly and cheaper to maintain properly. SupraAyf
It's up to this club of enthusiasts to keep the Supra's reputation intact:)

hadyn
Agree about CW's comments about Skylines. The R33s I've seen all seem to have really rusty undersides and suspension turrets etc, when compared to equal aged mkiv Supras. Dont know whether this is down to no undersealing or just nissan
Chris Wilson
It's Nissan! Seen rusted through tailgates on MKIV's and the odd rusty rear wheel arch. Underneath the rad support X-member can rot out, but generally the imports are pretty good. there are plenty of pretty scabby UK ones around though (salt...). R34 Skylines are notoriously bad for underside rust, they seemed to go downhill from the R32.
hadyn
Is the R32 a bit more rot resistant than the 33 and 34?
supra_si
well if we all take care of our cars theres no reason why they cant still be of a very high standard
Chris Wilson
Is the R32 a bit more rot resistant than the 33 and 34? Seem to be, considering they are a lot older, especially.
