Help! Clutch could be slipping...

Hi Guys, I think my clutch is starting to slip a bit when I acelerate in 4, 5, or 6 ie motorway driving although it is fine when I go up through the gears during hard acceleration. The car is 96 N UK Supra and has only covered 45k, the only modification I have done is fit a Blitz cat back exhaust. Can it really be the clutch on its way out? If it is going how long will it take before for it packs in?

I suppose the next thing to ask if it is teh Clutch is how much can I expect to pay for a new one including all parts and fitting?

Thanks

Kevin

It would be quite differcult to guess how long it will last. I would be concerned that letting it slip will damage the flywheel which will add quite a lot to the repair costs.

Are you planning on adding a lot of power to the car (by that I mean more than BPU) which may warrant an aftermarket clutch?
