Rayman
I have a set of brake pads here that definately fit the supra, how can i tell by measuring if they fit the Uk or jap spec caliper, if i put the measurement up here would someone be able to tell. Has anyone got a jap or Uk spec pad to hand?
Rayman
Ok the actual surface of the pad measures 120mm long and approx 52mm thru the middle of it. Anyone who has one to hand and could check for me, thank-you
wile e coyote
They sound like j-spec as the uk ones are a lot bigger Sorry not got any spare to measure Pic ?
garethr
The UK pads have two holes to take the pins you can see in the pictures in this thread. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=98436 (And I have Mintex MDB1708 pads in the 2-piston sliding calipers on my GS. They are excellent, so the MDB170X should be well worth having.) Edit: Found an illustration. They are 120mm x 82mm, apparently. garethr
Those are definitely J-spec, not UK spec.
Rayman
Thanks, i was leaning towards that just been googling from the lexus forum and it says the stock J-spec brakes are the same as the lexus is200, since these defo fit that then they must be J-spec.
