GeordieSteve
Anyone know anything about them? Looking for a "respectable" car with a decent bit of poke and noticed this for sale http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MASERATI-3200-GT-AUTO-3-2-V8-TURBO-COUPE-4200-AUTOMATIC_W0QQitemZ140273600193QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140273600193&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1309&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 SURELY that's a bargain car! GeordieSteve
Looks like they fall apart quite a bit but I'm not OVERLY worried about that against the value for money
Swampy442
Deffo had the best rear end of the series

Wez
Price looks about right, a lot of car for the money really. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/list.asp?s=

Pot
The only thing that puts me off is : "To all you, professional eBay complainers, who spend all there time reading car descriptions, looking for a minor error so they can report it. I am happy to have given meaning to your lives !!" And of course, the crapness of the ad... The car does look nice though, as others have said, a very nice rear end... I'd just make sure you see it before you buy, and make sure it's properly checked out... Somehow that line about his advert (And eBay complainers), just doesn't help my opinion when he's trying to sell a 'decent' car...

GeordieSteve
I'm not looking at that car in particular just at the 3200 in general. So far quite impressed
Jamesy W
I'm looking into these as well buddy, I had my heart set on one till I done a search on here. "Running costs make the Supe look like a Micra" was one quote. Chris Wilson also raised the point that parts cost an absolute fortune (If you can find them) and that the slightest of car park shunts could see your car written off. alaing
Lovley cars. So much car for your money. Servicing cost are killer as its a ferrari v8 so your paying ferrari money!
hogmaw
You can get an old BMW M5 for the same money. Not as nice to look at but plenty power
Gazboy
Absolute money pits, do your homework first before buying.
Syed Shah
They depreciate for a reason: They cost a LOT to keep on the road - a friend has one, money pit is an accurate description; and TBH they don't really look/feel special enough to justify the issues - nice as they are. Dragonlady
We were looking at one of these as well, that is until we spoke to a couple of Maserati specialists. Apparently the have common electrical problems and in a year you can kiss goodbye you £2 - £3k in repair bills. Was really gutted cause it looks a stunning car.
