Aldo87
The car failed its mot today on something which IMO is a bit trivial. They failed me on the "brightness of the headlights". Granted they are low and iv tried new bulbs but they dont seem to make any difference. The plastic is a bit faded aswell, but does anyone have the same problem? and does any1 know how to fix it. tooquicktostop
T cut the lens, this helps remove some of the mist from the lens, you could fit a HID kit, knightracer sell a kit on here for a good price

Guest pitstopralph
I can't remember the exact wording but it will be along the line of... damaged, dirty or deteriorated to such an extent that... the light output is well below that required to illuminate the road ahead, [or] the beam image is adversely affected. Difficult one to get over, the grey area is huge, the point at which the light seriously affects your ability to illuminate the road ahead is subjetive, if you think you can see ok with the lights on and the tester was just having a bad day, it might be worth cleaning the lights up, taking the car back and asking for an apeal form if he fails it again. He will think long and hard about the apeal proccess before sending you away again. Of cousre if you can't see with the lights on, you'll have to change them! merckx
the grey area is huge Maybe, but you can only benefit by cleaning them up.

Luka-P
Rotary polisher with some G3/T Cut on it. Give it a few good goings over. Dont let it get too hot! HID kits are always a good option as lighting is poor on the Supra.
