DIY Fitting of FMIC

Right guys well in a cpl of days im looking to fit my fmic once the pipes arrive.

Is it as straight forward as a radiator fitting or do i need special tools and parts.

I will have 1x fmic 2 row

1x xs power pipe kit.

Ive read up on how to remove the front bumper and downloaded the greddy installation pdf.

Im looking to lock down the active spoiler at the front as i dont want to lose it and have a large gaping hole under the car but im worried that the spoiler motor wil be in the way of the hot side piping, Is this true or will i be able to keep the motor in place.

I will also be bending back the PAS cooling pipes as i dont have a relocation kit for it and cant find any online that are suitable.

Have i missed anything?? please feel free to add hints tips and useful comments

haven't mounted it yet as my fmic is being a bitch to fit and every weekend i try to fit it i end up lying underneath my car in the the p!ssing scottish rain and find i need something else! (hence the pas cooler kit). when i do mount it i will probably stick it on the the front lower right handside of the a/c radiator. Thats where the PAS pipes come through for the standard cooler and it shouldn'y affect the performance of the other exchangers to much down there.

not really a whiz, i cut my hands on everything and swear alot like everyone else but i've done it a couple of times. Hints i suppose would be do it first thing in the morning as if you start in the afternoon you will end up putting it back on when its dark and that is an experience i will not be repeating. Also dont lose the two metal saddle type things that hold the sides of the bumper on, they will drop out when you lift the bumper off and when you go to put it back on you wonder why there's nowhere to screw the nut too on the inner wing. I would also jack it up and either take the tyres off or atleast be able to move them left and right so you can get good access to the inner wing bolt by bending back the inner arch plastic, you can take the plastic off if you want but i just bend it back far enough to get a spanner on it. Biggest tip however is get a friend to help you as you might end up scratching your paint or causing spider webbing of the paint, particularly when putting the bumper back on. Long post but i hope it helps.

-edit- also visit toyota first and get replacement plastic fasteners as you'll either accidentally snap a few taking them out or you'll HAVE to cut them to remove them, this happened to me and i was left with no fasteners and had to improvise at 10 o'clock at night in my driveway.
