Pudsey
Am I right in saying this is the first highly tuned VVT-i. I have been searching for quiet some time now, and have never found a monster like this. Seriously impressive build, just hope I can see this in real life one day. Is Supra Pod an option for you this year maybe?
Luxluc
Wow. Amazing result Steve. What octan ration has this race fuel?? Is it similar to E85?
Steve Sherwood
Thanks guys, I think it's the most highly tuned VVTi in the UK. The Solaris runs the VVti as it should be done and there are aftermarket cams available so we may see more high power VVTi cars. The VP import is high octane not sure on figure but must be around 119 the car stops making power before it starts to det and takes 10 degres more timing than BP Ultimate. Should be at Suprapod if all goes to plan.
Homer
Nice progress Steve, this has potential to upset a lot of the runners at Suprapod Fingers crossed you can make it
Steve Sherwood
The weight of the car is 1380kg a bit more than I expected but not bad, it's built to be strong so some of the components are heavy.
Paul Whiffin
The weight of the car is 1380kg a bit more than I expected but not bad, it's built to be strong so some of the components are heavy. Is that with or without fuel?
Steve Sherwood
With about 25-30lt of fuel.
