Its the best we can do in our home workshop, getting a compmny to make a custom pipe costs too much, just need to get if finished. Will need to do some refinshing jobs over next winter when we have time.

Steve Sherwood
Be interesting to see how the motor performs with the Solaris and 264 VVTi cam. Sounds totally different at this stage but throttle response appears to be very good.
Steve Sherwood
Thanks Jamie looks very different with road wheels and lowered. Its had to visualise it with all the panels on and painted but I think it should work.

dandan
First time I've seen this thread....Cracking looking motor - nice work. You don't have your old door cards left over do you?
Steve Sherwood
Rear wheels are 12.5 but 13s would fit, don't have the door cards.

Steve Sherwood
Almost ready to test on a track mapped for road fuel made 700 hp @ the hubs on Bp Ultimate @ 1.5 bar using AET Turbos dyna pack. Coservative map Ryan could have got a little more but best to be safe and 700 is more than enough for road/trac day use. Got the basic race map done had some problems with nitrous need to take advice before using it as it can be very distructive if not spot on. Made 800 hp @ hubs on zero oxygen fuel. One intresting point is that we are using HKS 264 VVTi inlet cam and 272 exhaust as HKS recommeded. This combination works well at low boost but as boost goes up does not work well. AET recommend use of an exhaust cam with the same duration as inlet or less at high boost. Reduce overlap and increase lift so will change to Crower 264 exhaust as it has higher lift than HKS 264 exhaust cam. That with high oxygen fuel could give another 100 hp on the turbo. The car will still need a lot of setting up before we get the best from it.

Steve Sherwood
Wow, great work Steve, is this road legal? Yes its road leagl will get it MOTd soon, it is very wide will only be for occasional road use. Front bumper is opend up for cooling works well never got over 70c on the dyno. We will make a bung to narrow the front for top speed runs.
