cheers folks. Have been VERY shaken up - didn't help that one of the people in a car in the other direction came over, acused me of attempted murder and nearly swung to hit me. Luckily police were there.

Nobody hurt - thats the main thing. Must have been a momentary lapse in concentration. Need to ring sky insurance tomorrow on my lunch break to get things in motion.

God man sorry to hear about your bad luck with the crash, it just aint your time right now.

Ive been watching all your threads to do with your (what do I put, difficult times, testing period, more like, having a shit life at the mo). its so bad that everything always seems to happen at the same time, Im not glad that you had to get rid of your car, such a great one too. Hope the money and the new job work out well, take everything a week at a time and within a year youll be up on it, with a new life and hopefully a new Supra.

All the best.

Bob.

My shoulder/neck hurts, shoulder badly bruised. Seat back colapsed and my head was in the back seat when I got out. I'm glad I'm up, walking and alive.

Don't want to say any more, but yep, things have gone from bad to worse, I'm still shaking now and that's nearly 6hrs on.

Fingers crossed for a brighter future! :)

Well the day has finally come :( My TT Aero is being picked up this afternoon, and a Hyundai Coupe will be mine as the replacement. Going to be very sad watching it drive away, but needs must and all that - bills to pay, debts to clear, and a house to keep!

It's been a very emotional 2 weeks of my life so far. My ex moved out of our house last weekend, and I've spent most of the week "interviewing" potential lodgers to move in to help with the bills, which feels very weird.

I left my job yesterday, leaving do was good and I was quite drunk, but a fun evening nevertheless! Very sad as I made a lot of friends, but I hope to stay in touch with them. The fact of the matter is, I don't know anyone in the local area outside of work, and of course a few people from meets etc on here.

I start a new job on Monday, more senior IT role and I'm VERY nervous about it and think I'm going to get quite stressed/worn out over the next few weeks trying to get to grips with everything. I really need a holiday/break as I've not had anything more than 2 days off in a row for about 1.5 years now.

So all in all, a LOT going on all at once. I feel very alone right about now, but I'm trying to keep a smile on my face and look forward to the new life! :)

I feel better now I've said all that! :innocent:

Good luck Pabs in your new job...:)

Oh btw, even though you now own a...ahem...Hyundai, are you still coming down to the Basingstoke meet??

You know, keep up the tradition and all...:D ;)

EDIT: Just re-read, sorry to hear this Pabs, hope that you are OK...:)

new offices haven't burnt down, but thanks Michael. Refurb in process tho, so not the tidiest of places at the mo!

I ache too much today, neck and shoulder very sore :( Sky/Ensign doing their insurance bit now, so just going to see how it goes there, and then see what the police say in the next week or so.
