Thorin
Some of mine from a while ago, I'm not too keen on the extreme effect of some of the HDR photo's so mine are a bit more subtle than most (the car wasn't particularly clean at the time either)... JamesC
Are you guys using Photoshop for this or a program like Photomatrix? Has anyone done it from one Raw image? And changing the exposure in photoshop? Would that work?
Bobbeh
Photomatrix here. 3 different exposures. One -2, one 0 and another +2.
Thorin
Photomatrix here. 3 different exposures. One -2, one 0 and another +2. Same here, but I tweaked the levels and colour a bit in Photoshop afterwards too.

You can do it by creating three separate exposure images from one RAW image file, but it doesn't look as good. Come on then who's going to educate me .... whats Hdr photos . Guest jonte_j
Are you guys using Photoshop for this or a program like Photomatrix? Has anyone done it from one Raw image? And changing the exposure in photoshop? Would that work? Some say using only one image and changing the exposure is cheating! Never tried it but ive read that you won´t get the same result! Using at least 3 images and Photomatix works great i think!

ChrisB
Ive been having a go of this today, some people getting very impressive results, any comments suggestions to make them better? I dont have a tripod at the minute, i just took 3 different images and used the free version of photomatix. The last is my favourite for how it worked out sorry its a bike
