little num Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Going southbound just after J12, I was going Northbound so only got a quick glimpse... yeh was me on my way down to minehead for a weekend with the family at butlins was a great weekend until on the way back when i put my foot down and BANG fromthe engine bay, AA saves the day (again) lucky was just a pipe had come off in the drivers wing that goes onto the intercooler. little num Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 James - are you telling me you couldn't fix this... well it happened on the way back from minhead and it was the pipe that is inside the wing, so at jun 21 of m5 i had no tools and was dressed to pull :-) so didnt want to get dirty or get killed by the bloody truckers lol. so i thought save the fuel and get AA to bring me home and fixed it as soon as we got back, saved £25 in fuel (bonus). i was over 100 miles away, if id have been 30 i would have found away to get into the arch to fix it.
