miko_supra
I have a peugeot 306 1.9TD. Looks ok, comfortable, 50+mpg, good sound system, and doesn't handle too bad either.
Kirk
Let me recommend a 1.6 GL polo! Great run around only downside is you only get bout 42mpg and the tank holds bout 10 gallons Posted via Mobile Device

Thats very decent even for a 1.6 unless your doing mostly motorway miles. Even then id say its not too bad.

I'd expect mid to high 30s from that. 10 gallons (roughly 50 litres) isn't bad either. IIRC the supe's is only a bit bigger at 70 litres. Its mainly motorway speeds you get 42mpg, urban probly mid to low 30s. There a crackin little car, ok so they handle like a shopping car but who cares. One in good nick and under 100k miles can still bring over a £1000 should you ever need to sell Posted via Mobile Device
