raises a few questions based on the ending and happenings in the first one (which I won't go into for fear of spoiling it for anyone)

Yeah, I was thinking that myself..

I enjoyed the first one though, and this one look's good, so i'll watch it when it come's out.

Is she turning into a psycho killer because of PTS or something? Didn't the others (or one of them) start killing their friends in the first one?

Spoiler Alert!!!

One of them pickaxed another by complete accident but she didn't admit to it and said that the things had taken her. They all thought she was dead, including the girl that did it, but later in the movie she is found alive (not for long). She tells the one that survives what happened by showing her a necklace that she grabbed off her and then the one left takes revenge for her. In other words, she kinda does but she kinda doesn't.

When i first started watching the trailer i thought it was all going to be made up in her head. It would be a decent twist but its all been done before. A twist nowadays is to have no twist. I'm surprised to see a good honest movie with no tricks now.

Descent 2 trailer looks acceptable enough:

http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/the-descent-2/trailer (Bit NWS due to gore)

Obviously the main thing with the first one was the "unknown" element to it all, now that you know what's down there does that make it better or worse?

Watched Descent 2 tonight - very good sequel, they have played on the fact you already know what's there to enhance the scare factor.

Worth seeing if you get chance.

Really looking forward to seeing this flick. Glad someone has seen it and given it a thumbs up.

I absolutely loved the first movie and think it is a serious contender for scariest movie.

:rlol:

I saw "I'll always know what you did last summer" the other week. Yes I am sure you never realised they made a 3rd film. And yes it went straight to DVD,.. and ultimately its terrible - didn't make it to the end of the film it was that bad.

Is that the one without JLH in it? I saw the bit at the start where they're playing a prank and that kid falls off the building and actually dies (on some combine harvester thing?) - then I turned it off.

Yup that's the one. I made it about 30 mins further than you but had to surrender. I couldn't take it anymore. Terrible :(

Btw you have spoilt the first "horror" moment of the film - not that I reckon any other human will bother seeing it ;)

I really want to see this :)

I saw 'Drag Me To Hell' a couple of weeks back (old, I know) and absolutely loved it... hopefully a sequel on the way :)

I did a full on scream out loud, (on the first one at home and the second one in the cinema) - it's so jumpy!

It's got that added bonus of already scaring you with the horrific 'being trapped down in a cave' scenario. :scare:

Yeah my Wife had a few jumps herself, especially at the end (won't ruin it but I'm guessing you know which part I mean).

We went to see it along with one of my mates. He never mentioned anything about being jumpy with flicks but he was up a few times. At the end of the movie the lights came on and he was chalk white, the poor guy was terrified. Blew his jaws and seemed relieved it was over. Still slag him off to this day for that one.
