snake
The Rx8 love oil and petrol apparently
Axle
RX8 has an extra set of seats, that can be pretty useful Yeh true, but i think the S2000 is more a ladies type vehicle imo. Obviously if the extra seats are of importance then the RX8 its gotta be.
gordy07
My mate johns got a RX8 its a lovelly machine not overly fast bit its nice and the interior is well smart too.No chance of any tail out action though the tcs soon corrects that. S2000 all the way! i love that car. i guess it does look a bit girly but remeber that black one from Fast and Furious, that car looked mean as hell! jefferson
not just oil / petrol / parts for repair that would cost you - the rx8 would depreciate far quicker than any S2000
Ian W
S2000 all the way for me. The RX8 may have seats in the back but they're about as useful as the Supra's.
bigbloodyturbo
s2000 most definately. not girly at all, will leave most normal cars standing, F series engine in them is an amazing piece of work too.

ufop
it’s got a wankel... oh and will go through oil! Seems many people love them, I would wonder if the previous owner checked the oil as often as one of them requires though? Just can’t see a Mazda garage selling the having to regularly check the oil as a selling point lol yeah the £400 tax is a bit of a killer too! Anees
My sister was really interested in one but the £400 Road Tax, very high fuel consumption and need to constantly top it up wth oil (around 1litre a month!) meant it was just too expensive to run. Jake
Don't they also have really bad depreciation? I'm sure I was reading something about it on PH recently. I'll see if I can find it ..... brb
Havard
Why would anyone want a modern car with such poor economy?? They also depreciate like a falling stone and I would imagine when those engines start to go pop, Mazda will become one of the richer manufacturers.......... Not a bad looking car but ordinary with little road presence!! H.
