Buying some goods from a forum, vendor wants Paypal as a "Gift"??

He's a fellow Scot who has been active on the forum since 2005, so I guess it's a fee thing, you canny Scots and all that :) Done a search and no one seems to have had issues with him, and he's sold stuff before.

 

If that's the case and he's trusted then go with it.

 

My post was more in the case of an ebay seller or something like that.

As you know from here mate, that can come back and bite you some times :(

 

I'd rather pay the £16 and put it through as goods if it then meant I had some comeback.

Doesn't matter how 'trusted' or 'respected' some one is perceived to be on an internet forum, they can still sell you crap and walk off with your money :(
