Konrad
Hello gents I was just wondering, what electrical mess would be involved if I would want to swap my auto ECU to 6 speed manual one. My TT conversion was done using engine from auto TT. Is it just straight swap between ECU's or need some fiddling with loom? Thanks Konrad
Konrad
Following Ian's post about ecu pins it seems, that both of them are basically identical except that auto ecu is using additional pins to control gearbox. Do anyone have any idea if there are really any other differences (map, ignition etc.)?
rick001
I think its pretty straight forward as Keron did mine when i went TT from N/A - drop him a pm
bigbloodyturbo
i think someone said the auto ecu does something to the igntion when it shifts gears, dont know how that would affect it if it were attached to a manual gearbox, if it does you could try pulling the trac fuse.
