how about heat the oven up to a fair temp (say 180') first put the light on a cold baking tray switch off the gas then put the light in the oven and check it now and then....

Then you wont have to worry about the flame melting the light,

Just keep checking the light to check its not getting to hot.

Yup... I was going to do it myself but decided it was too much like hard work. So I gave them to my bodyshop guy and he sorted it. Took him about 2 hours per light and didn't look very easy. You'll probably need a dremel tool etc to trim the edges.

Here they are fitted.

More pics aren't gonna fit those lenses now are they son?:)

Just have someone who knows what they are doing do it, the lights are a focal point on the Supe and if you @rse it, it's gonna be a ball-ache.

LOL im intrested to see more picture. nice one will do it my headlight lense next week!:D

No he asked the bodyshop guy that I used to do mine how much it would be to do his and he didn't like the quote (£90), which I think is reasonable considering the amount of time it takes (4-5 hours per pair)

He was probably expecting it to be £1.50

That sounds really cheap to me, refurb and labour.. all in for £90.. bargain.

Im lovin those lights with the silver re sprayed black, I gotta get that done, I bet it looks sweet on darker soop's?

I do have to say that T-Cut does get rid of about 50% of the grime on the lenses too, it does improve them a LOT.. Give that a try if your after a cheap fix it will improve things until you can afford to get them done, and trust me £90 is a bargain!
