Homer
I met Shane (silversoop) today to try and diagnose a problem on his car and spotted somethng a little odd. His VVTi TT 6spd had one of those skinny NA rads in it. The car looks pretty stock, no sign of front end damage, etc and it doesn't look like it's been replaced. Has anyone else ever seen an NA rad on a VVTi TT before? Just curious, nothing more

Homer
I've seen a NA rad on a jspec non vvti if that helps? Posted via Mobile Device Interesting, was that an auto or 6spd? Do you recall the year it was made?
Chris Wilson
Some VVTi models came with the thinner (N/A) radiators. They don't seem incapable of cooling. The thicker rad seems OTT for road usage in the UK, Toyota probably went for worst case scenario for European markets?

Kirk
Interesting, was that an auto or 6spd? Do you recall the year it was made? Yeah it was a facelift model, 97 and it was a manual. It may well of had a rad replacement in its life, maybe why I'm not sure ill ask him next time I see him Posted via Mobile Device Edited October 9, 2008 by Kirk (see edit history)
