Sorry to hear this mate.

Possibly getting drunk and selling your car isn't the most productive way to spend your time.

Tomorrow is another day - stay positive dude, it could be the making of you.

it is easy to feel like that when on top of the world and emp;loyed in a good job, like i was, but am not from a educate back ground i work my way up within a company and i have been screwed over.

I've been there too. Trust me, things will work out. Get your CV sorted and start hitting those job boards!

I thought you said you lost it today?

You're either a very fast worker or you haven't given it any time at all!?

Go drown your sorrows and wake up tomorrow with a game plan :)

It'll be fine.... stop with the dwelling!

What do you do?

Same thing happened to me mate, i've been unemployed for over a month now but now have a job in the RAF. I've found it really hard finding a decent job as they're all going bust while you apply!!!

if i didnt have 2 kids and a mrgage to pay i would definately think about the army/raf/navy etc

Try to keep positive, it's only been a couple of days, take it steady and keep focussed on applying for jobs and something should hopefully pop up. Once that's done you'll be secure in the knowledge you've got a new job and then can go and get wasted to drown your sorrows then...

Gotta look a little more positive dude, I work for the same company as TooQuickToStop and was out of work on the 15th or last month.

Due to the Nomura takeover I'm back.. It might not be forever, although it looks quite good, but things turn up.

I have to admit it was the worse two weeks, but I kept busy applying for plenty of jobs..

Try jobserve.co.uk as they were good for me.

Call your competitors asap, someone took your companies work, go work for them :)

Who did you work for btw? What industry?

speed frame the bigest manurfacturer of windows and door in the uk. the company that will be buying them out of administration looks like Anglian.... not 100% yet though.
