rick001
I recently replaced my j-spec front brake set up for the uk jobby as my jap ones were juddering badly after 2 sets (1 second hand and 1 a blue print) and now im sure i can feel the UKs starting to very slightly judder could my front wheel alignment be causing this? Nic
A knackered wheel bearing can cause juddering under braking. Is it juddering on one side? Is it the near side (passenger side)?
rick001
Hi nic, im reluctant to think so as i changed it last year - i have no uneven wear on my front tyres either!
AlanM
My Toyota UK Spec disks warped within a few hundred miles with no fierce stopping having taken place. The blueprint ones I replaced them wioth are fine

Its really annoying when you spend all the money on OEM stuff and its gives out in quick time
JODY T
This happened to me with Toyota ones, I put blue print ones on also... Or you ould get your toyota ones faced true again... If they have already warped its unlikely they will again..

Its really annoying when you spend all the money on OEM stuff and its gives out in quick time No idea, except it was not as a result of vigourous use. They were badly warped, Jody can vouch for this he had them lying about for a while at Interpro where the blueprints went on. No trouble with them - and they have been used enthusiastically a few times

Thorin
What pads? Poor pad choice (especially if people insist on using incendiary devices like the ones made by EBC) can leave material build up on the discs.
AlanM
I had Toyota pads n mine

bignum
Have you done any heavy braking then sat with your foot on the brake pedal, i.e come down a m/way slip road to traffic lights?
bigbloodyturbo
did you bed them properly, not just do the usual drive easy for 300 miles.
dan4
i find they warp easily, then i skim them and it never happens again. The heat cycle maybe strengthens them Is there any corrosion behind the disc causing it to sit pissed?
