supra_si Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 As im having to replace some tranny oil with changing my auto radiator this morning, just had a quick look at the workshop adobe link for refilling the transmission oil, but doesnt give a clue as to where the oil dipstick is for it and where the filler nut is located, anyone able to help? georigg Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 Please look at Page 2 of the attached pdf which shows the location of the auto trans dip stick(non turbo is about the same). In its very basic terms, pour transmission fluid down the dip stick tube until the level is correct on the dip stick..........couldnt be easier! paul mac Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 haha yeh my mate said to pour it in by the dipstick tube, i read about undoing a filling nut somewhere, that was what i was wondering where it was nope straight down the dipstick tube, a small size funnel makes it easier and make sure everything is spotless as you dont want s**t getting in the gearbox, are you fully aware of how to check the level ?, dont go mad and pour a load in, keep checking the level, its easy enough to get the fluid in buts its a bit trickyer getting it out if you over do it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
