Paul Whiffin
Now that looks sexy As promised the quality looks superb. Looking foward to seeing Daz hard at work. Oh yes, it certainly is, proper quality, cant get much better than that. Getting really excited on the turbo kit front now, cant wait to get it finished. T2 MSW
Looking for some input to this one, just been speaking to Paul as he phoned to ask about fpr. I was going with the stock fpr as I'm going to do the fueling system later. Will the stock fpr be ok for now till I do the fuel side? bignum
Stock fpr will be fine matey.
T2 MSW
I assume I would only want to use a fpr if I wantedto up the fuel pressure for example if using a twin feed rail or something like that?
bignum
You would still use stock fuel pressure;) How was your holiday btw?

Paul Whiffin
Quick update, engine is more or less built, had to regrind 5 shims today to get the correct valve clearance so thats held the engine install a bit. Darren got on with fitting in the manual transmission tunnel along with the TRD diff. Should be dropping the engine in tomorrow with any luck. Here's a quick pic of the crankshaft sprocket's we have tig welded, I know from first hand experience that the crank pickup washer can come off which in my case resulted in a lot of engine damage. Wont come off now! http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/mikewardscar/cranksprocket.jpg

T2 MSW
Bit of an update, spoken to Paul today. Very impressed with the pace of work & communication so far - just hope we can get it done on time for Le Mans in June. Engine is back in the car now. gearbox on and the Diff all fitted. Off to the fabrication place tomorrow (I think) to have the downpipe and mid pipe fabricated then back down to Paul for the finishing off and testing. Not long to wait now. Only painful parts ive got to get through is a) the bill and b) running it in for 1000 miles Edited May 12, 2009 by T2 MSW (see edit history)
