marbleapple
Evening Guys, I’m hoping someone can help me. I have loaded Football Manager 2006 onto my PC but every time I go tot he start screen (new game, preferences, updates etc) the game crashes to desktop. I am guessing this is because the game isn’t compatible for Vista. I am just wondering if anyone knows a way to safely play non Vista games on Vista? RedM
Doesn't Vista have an option to run software in XP mode?

RedM
I want to play the game this evening so its a bit late to pop out and buy it Doesn't seem to work If you go to the start menu launcher you can right click on the game title and select from there. I got Bioshock running better than in (stock) Vista that way!

If I play it without going into compatability mode it crashes in the options screen and when I go into compatability mode it asks me to put the correct Fing CD in. RedM
Pah! You want to try running Windows games within Linux using Wine. Sometimes it works as it should, others it's a complete PITA. In fact, I'm looking at getting an XP install up and running just for games.
