little num
hi mabs, what part of midlands you from, anyways the boot rubbers are normally the things to go on these, i have just changed mine and ive got a uk L REG, so if they have never been done id say these for deffinatly, problem is the bolts that hole them in are normally siezed like mine was and to be honest an absolute night mare to get the old one's off, good news is tho they only cost a few quid from toyota (stourbridge) i have part numbers if needed cheers again. Paul
If you do change the boot rubbers then do a search on here for the correct method of removing them, the bolts are loctited on not 'seized' and the best way to remove is with a little heat. 3LL
yep, deffo the rubbers on the lip of the boot me thinks!
bigbloodyturbo
as said before the bolts are blue loctited on, when i took mine off, the loctite was so thick on it you could barely see the threads. I used a hot air gun on them, not to hot but heated them for a fairly long time to let the loctite get warm, even with that i almost round off the head of one of them. Good luck bud.
