nikbiomed
Hi I want to change my steering wheel for an aftermarket type but where I have done this before to both my other supes this one has an airbag and wondered what my options were. bodilx6
a RAV4 wheel is very much like the TRD in look and a wheel from 01-05 RAVs willl fit. Mind you that there is a leather version and a non leather version where the latter being a bit boring for the soop. Check with a few salvage yards if they have any. Also bear in mind that the airbag will probably have popped, so a new one from Toyota is needed and that is rather expensive. Around £250 here in Denmark. You can dump the airbag and get a replacement plate or something in stead for aprox half that price.

Don't mind loosing the Airbag so long as I can get a decent Airbag compatible boss kit (where from though). My only concern is the insurance, but then if I let them know I nolonger have a car with an airbag then I should be OK.
