What sort of fuel economy from a TT

Hi Folks

First post

I'm considering getting a auto TT.

A factor is the fuel economy. I was just interested to see what mpg these things do.

I have a 200sx Stage 1 at the moment and a full tank town driving is about 200 miles

Steady motorway driving and a full tank is 400 miles

Equivalents for the above would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

fair question considering the way fuel has being going up recently, i only really use my supra for short trips and get around 20-25 mpg depending on how heavy my foot is lol. On the motorway id estimate it around the 28-30 range (thats cruising in 6th, no boost).Hope that helps

Thought na and tt's were the same, well near enough. Im na and I get 370 miles to a tank - varied driving :p

Yeh pretty much.

As i say, the n/a does 20 mpg and the TT does 18 mpg, no diference really at all...:)

You can save more money with an n/a because of the advantage in this case, of having no turbo's...:D ;)

think I get more tbh, would guess at 20-25 normal easy going with a few spirited moments, up to 35 absolute max all motorway very very girly driving (65-75mph) and down to possibly near single figures if you drive like a loony all the time. 'my' average is possibly 23ish but I share the driving with the missus and not sure she even knows it has turbos :) I always get told off when they start purring anyway.....

I don't care what my Girlfriend thinks, if she doesn't like my turbo's purring, i would tell her to get out and walk...:D ;)

I concur with your figures sir- after 9 years of TT ownership :)

Averaged over seven years of TT ownership, at around 7,000 miles a year, 18mpg.

Yep thats about right I tested mine 3 times and without boring you with figures ( I wouldn't know where they are anyway), I got between 19 and 21 mpg driving fairly conservatively in me TT :D

I think I get around 250-280 miles to a tank of optimax, with a little spirited driving here and there. Not had the car long enough to get a good enough picture tho :(

Mostly decent-length journeys of 25 miles+ - if the journeys short enough I walk or cycle instead! I think of it as looking after my car's engine!
