outatime
The first car I remember was my Dads 411 Mk 5, he still has it now: It used to fill the house with fumes when he left for work
Chris Wilson
The first car I remember was my Dads 411 Mk 5, he still has it now: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/116/293864758_244b53dc94.jpg?v=0 It used to fill the house with fumes when he left for work Wow, a rare and very nice machine. Big Chrysler V8, Torqueflite box and a half decent chassis. Always fancied one of those. The car I first recall was my mother's 1960 Ford Consul, and my dad's Ford V8 Pilot. He then bought a Riley Pathfinder. My mother went from the Consul to a DB5 automatic, in which she frightened herself (and all who were driven by her) so she sold it after about 12 months and bought a new Cortina MKIII GXL, much to my disgust. My first car was a Lea Francis 14 saloon, which was falling apart, to be honest, but kind of stood out in the college car park amongst MKI Cortinas and Minis. My dad insisted i had something capable of well under 100 MPH, but I did squeeze abou 95 out of the Lea Francis, downhill, with a following wind, tucked in the slipstream of a MKX Jag. Those Fiat 850 Coupes were SO pretty, I loved them, but if I was to buy a classic Fiat today it'd have to be this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260271774472

It is a nice car, aluminium bodied as well. I blame it for my V8 habit! He's also got a 412 and a Brittania now. The 411 is still the nicest
Thorin
My dad had numerous 3.0 and 2.9 (Cosworth) engined Ford Granada's. I also remember a Vauxhall Viceroy and a Senator. More recently he's had a couple of C class Merc's and currently driving a 3.0 Jag S class.
