Chris Wilson
Tried Screwfix, and searched Ebay, can't find any on line suppliers of 8 foot double tube fluorescent fittings. I need 4 of them, 2 I have have had the chokes die (and they are less than 6 years old ) and I need 2 more for over 2 benches. Anyone know where to try? Thanks. Chris Wilson
Getting tubes isn't a problem, I have about 10 spare ones that are fine, it's the whole ceiling fitting, it seems that replacing JUST the choke (which is all that's gone in 2 units, rendering one tube in each inoperative), costs more than a new complete fitting, or it did when I enquired re chokes for 5 foot fittings. It seems the complete dual fittings are hard to find, unless i am being dense again. Thanks for the link, Steve, but can't see complete fittings there... Chris Wilson
Right, that's great, QVS sound straightforward to deal with, thanks, I'll ring them tomorrow. However, would be keen to know how much chokes are, some of my 8 foot ones are 100W, some 125W. i know I need 2 chokes, but if they were handy money would like a couple of spares in stock Thanks everyone.
