Gaz Walker
LMAO Anyone see this; Monday, 29 September 2008 According to Pitpass, a leading F1 media site the 2009 BBC F1 team has been chosen. It looks like this - Jonathan Legard, Martin Brundle, David Coulthard, Jake Humphrey and Lee McKenzie. Jonathan Legard has done previous commentary on BBC's Radio Five Live and has much knowledge of the sport. He will be paired up with award winning commentator Martin Brundle, a perfect decision on behalf of the BBC. Current F1 driver, David Coulthard, is apparently going to be in the studio to head the show with another BBC presenter Jake Humphrey, who recently had a major role at the BBC beijing olympic games. According to F1Fanatic, "Lee McKenzie has been fronting Sky Sports’ A1 Grand Prix coverage and is the daughter of Bob McKenzie, the Daily Express journalist. (He who famously promised to run a lap of Silverstone naked if McLaren won a race in 2004.) She is expected to work as a pit lane reporter, a role currently filled by Louise Goodman and Ted Kravitz. McKenzie won Jim Clark Memorial Award for people involved in motor sport." From the looks of this, only Martin Brundle from the current ITV team will join the on-screen team at the BBC. I remember Bernie asking Martin if he still worked for ITV on one of the Start grid lineups and thought at the time, what do you know that we don't Mike

ivan
Now here's me making the effort to mask a possible swear word just in case I get an infraction and you go and do that just 'cos you're a mod. Ah cock!
Gaz Walker
Yeah, that wasn't too obvious was it Thank dog James "The cock" Allen has gone! Couldn't agree more. I stopped counting the commentry mistakes in the Singapore GP when I got to 10. The man is a truely irritating SOAB. Gaz.
RedM
I don't think I can handle too much of DC on telly. I mean, that chin! It's what widescreen was invented for.
