started getting a knock when starting the engine..

I have a TT auto.

 

The last few days when i start the engine it starts fine but about half a second after theres a single knock from what im guessing is the transmission while its still in park, it didnt do it the time after, its intermittant. The knock sounds like its to the middle/right of the passenger footwell.

 

It didnt make the knock last time i started the car but its more often than not now. Theres no other problems, just a little knock in park shortly after starting the engine. No knocks when putting in reverse or drive or anything.

 

I just wondered if anyone else has had this, i think it would be best sorted now rather than later. I think its the torque converter at a guess (hope)
