Jim_1979
ANy isuues with the TT VVT-I engines? I remember reading about some tuning issues/limitations or something. I can't remember to be exact. Anyone got any info? Compared with a non VVT-I engine.
Alex
Tuning issues are only that with more sophisticated electronics you need to spend your money wisely on the ECU/mapping.
johnny g
I think the VVTi runs into a wall @ 520ish bhp IIRC - you need to start looking at cams etc, but should be fine up to that point. You need an ECU which can handle the VVTi; AEM does it, but only open loop. Solaris does it - and in closed loop, so I'd choose that. It's what I'm going for. I'm sure Ryan can advise better

The cam duration will be *roughly* the same as the non vvti and people have managed much higher power levels with them.
