The only Mod is a RallyArt Panel Filter

Any Tips what to do tuning wise, like BPU, to sqeeze a few moew ponies out of her?

Cheers

Dont think so, i did a few upgrades when i was working at a tuner, and never mapped any after mods.. BUT you can though

And before anyone sais, 'i should know what to do, after working at evo specialsits'... was a long time ago! Cant remember what we did, things like swap bits off other models etc

My bro has an EVO 4 and I have a 6.

The 4 engine does not like too much extra stress on it from standard.... so I would not be tempted to try and go anything above 310bhp , if you want to keep things all reliable on a stock engine.

They supposedly come with 275bhp.... but as with all the far eastern cars when they are dyno'd they show up about 10bhp more, if in good condition.

Raising boost by a couple of psi and the usual filter, intercooler upgrades are usually enough for most people on the MLR. The EVO 4 engine usually requires a faster flowing fuel pump too, when the boost is increased.

But you will find soo much more engine technical information than I can give to you by looking on the owners website.... http://www.lancerregister.com/index.php

GSR or RS version by the way?

I like the EVOs for their handling characteristics on the twisty roads. They are very direct and they are nicely balanced.

Have you looked on the 'parts for sale' section on the MLR? ..... many many items get traded each week on there..... sometimes you can pick up a bargain.

But look out for a guy who lives on the Isle of White..... he has been scamming people for the past year.
