Fitting new manual gear lever - stock one

Want to try to fit my new gear lever. Before i start can someone tell me if this is a job best left to the professionals or is something your ten year old sone could do?

 

If its the latter of the 2 i might give it a go

Yep, couldnt find anything. Not very good with searching

are you doing it with the car on the floor? if so its very fiddly getting one of the nuts onto the bolt that secures to the linkage. There are four 10mm bolts that tend to strip the threads on the mounting to the gearbox

 

I wouldnt say its the most technical job though buddy!
