Belt squeaking?

Hi guys

Just a quick one, I have used the search but not really found anything that relates to this.

Noticed in the past few days I'm getting a slight squeak from what I think is a belt, but could be wrong. It happens when I accelerate (slow or hard), but only sometimes. Seems to be coming from the passenger side of the engine bay, but havn't had a chance to have the bonnet up and get someone else to rev it so I can have a listen yet.

Any idea's initially what this could be? Thought it was the tension but have since found out they are auto-tensioning (sp?)

Also, getting some white smoke on start-up when cold. Havn't driven it for long periods so don't know if it goes, but it is lasting for the 5-6 miles I drive it at a time. Hoping this is due to it not being warmed up properly and I'm just being over-cautious.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Dean

Edit: Doubt this but could it be due to the wheel nuts not being tightened properly? Changed them the other day but am still waiting for my torque wrench to be delivered so not sure if they are tightened correctly
