active spoiler parts....

basically my car still has the active spoiler fitted, which works... however the actual spoiler (the moving part) is missing, and also the skirt that sits all around the bottom of the bumper. im pretty sure these are the only 2 bits im missing... however I might just take a pic at some point with it down as it is and make sure its all I require. Im also looking to fit a boost gauge soon so if anybody has one going for sale let me know, looking to fit it in the clock space as its broken anyway... :D thanks and goodnight :)

you will struggle to find just that part, most people sell the spoilers complete for around £100, that would be your best bet for getting hold of one

how much are you after? cant make out from the pics, but does it include the trim piece from the bottom of the bumper, as in the bit that is fixed and doesnt move?

just sent you a pm. no the lower bumper trim is not inc. in the pic is the mech unit(moving bar) under tray(goes behind the bumper, active motor and lip that comes down.

Right im getting there... ive now fitted the lower lip part of the bumper, and it is a vast improvement. Ive got the active spoiler lip also but am missing the metal strips that are supposed to go underneath it... numbers 76863/76855/76864 on this diagram:

Im going to get the bolts from toyota and see if I can get away with not having them because would you believe to buy them new from toyota works out at around £100?! Thanks but no thanks I said to the dealer.... :D Anyway if any1 has said parts for sale or has fitted the spoiler without them, please let me know. Much appreciated.

you might get away with fitting it with just some bolts and washers, but personally I would just get myself a sheet of alloy and make some

hi mate glad you got the lip fitted ,did you do it with the bumper on in the end ?;) will have a hunt round the garage see if i have those strips anywhere mate ,dont even remember them when i took it off :D

No I took the bumper off, dont think id ever have done it with it on, the old bolts were rusty as hell so took some budging! What a pain in the ass taking the bumper off is though!! My old man was like is it really worth it... course it is dad!! :D Ok let me know if you find them

Yeh im going to just try with bolts/big washers and see how it looks. Yeh did think about getting some sheet metal and just making up something to go underneath for a bit more support, ill have a hunt around at work on monday and see what sheet metal there is to play with. :)
