bigbloodyturbo
na supra's aren't that bad when you look at an E46 bmw 330ci, they're similar in weight and power and are both RWD and nobody ever called a 330ci slow.
3LL
both very valid points, I think the main things I can take away from this thread are that although the N/a Auto isnt by any means the fastest supra out there, its certainly not going to be the slowest car on the road and by no means as slow as I am worried about. Thanks for the re assurance guys!
creative
having just lost my first N/a Auto to the insurance bods i can confirm that the auto box is pretty good. I found if you leave it in full auto its cruises around very nicely with the poke there ready when you need it. I found hitting the loud pedal a second or two before what you would do in a manual the box can keep up and your away. Stick it in manual mode and thats where the fun is for those spirited drives. again change gear a second or 2 before you would in a manual and you will soon be shifting thru the gears! I had never driven an auto before I got mine and I wouldnt hesitate in getting another one.
