stevie_b
For those who have classic car or low miles car insurance, what company do you go with? I've googled it, but only the usual suspects (with their non-competitive premiums) seem to come up.
spartan
I was with Footman James for a while - low mileage and agreed value policy but fairly pricey. At the suggestion of my father-in-law (who is a farmer) I tried NFU insurance and was, frankly, amazed: very competitive classic car insurance and excellent (face-to-face) service. I had no NCB I could use on this car but they gave me a 5-year introductory (new customer) discount! Worth a try? N.B. If you use them I don't think it's compulsory to put a sticker in your window or drive in wellies.

Agreed insurance value etc. Premium is based on total BHP rather than individual modifications. My MK2 with the engine conversion and all the mods listed in my garage was £550.00 fully comp. I am quite old though
